Rare Earth High Iron Aluminium Alloy Cables (1KV – 33KV)
Our range of Rare Earth High Iron Aluminium Alloy Cables fundamentally differ from traditional Copper cables. It is lighter in weight, possesses greater impact and corrosion resistance, and is highly fire-retardant. This makes it a safer, longer lasting alternative to traditional Copper cables at more competitive prices.
1. Aluminium Type MC (Metal Clad)
For Applications in the following:
Branch, feeder and service power distribution under high ambient temperatures in commercial, industrial, institutional, and multi-residential buildings
2. Mobile Home Feeder
For applications in the following:
Mobile homes to a supply of electricity where permanent wiring is required as specified in the NEC®1
Direct burial in earth at conductor temperatures not to exceed 90℃.
3. RHH or RHW or USE
RHH = Rubber Insulated High Heat
RHW = Rubber Insulated Heat Water Resistant
USE = Underground Service Entrance
For applications in the following:
With conduit as specified in the NEC®1.
As underground service entrance cable, for direct burial, at conductor temperatures not exceeding 90℃.
RHW-2 or USE-2 shall be applied in wet or dry locations at conductor temperatures not exceeding 90℃.
4. SER or SEU
SER = Service Entrance Type “R”
SEU = Service Entrance Type “U”
For applications in the following:
To convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panel board
In all other applications where Type SE cable is permitted in wet or dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90℃.
5. Underground cables
For applications in the following:
General purpose building wire, used in service entrance, feeders and branch circuits for residential, commercial, industrial and transportation environments for permanent installations utilizing 600 volts or less.
Buried installations or ducts and in environments where superior insulation toughness and chemical resistance is required.
For use in both dry and wet locations
6. XHHW-2
XHHW = Cross-linked High Heat Water Resistant
For applications in the following:
Conduit or recognized raceways for services, feeders, and branch circuit wiring as specified in the National Electric Code (NEC®);
For use in both wet or dry locations at temperatures not exceeding 90℃;
